What To Buy For Your Adoption
This is how I am spending my weekend-

I stayed up until 3AM last night retyping my list of What To Buy For Your Adoption.

Check it out. It is more comprehensive.

It is even alphabetized.

Yes, I am neurotic.

Jen, your time will come. I know you are anxious and the wait is very difficult. You are an incredible mom. God has the perfect little girl for you and in His perfect timing He will bring her into your life. I hope it is very soon. I keep waiting to check your blog and hear that you have your referral. Hang in there!

I hear ya! We were expecting our referral any day when we hit the reaccreditation / NGO registration hurdle and our agency told us they didn't expect any new referrals until September. Sigh... But, my understanding is that a lot of agencies are in that same situation so maybe that will speed things up for you!

When waiting for Peanut I wasn't sure what was worse -- knowing your child and not being able to get to him or not knowing. It was harder waiting for Peanut because I was so worried about him (still am). But not knowing my child is hard in a different way -- it's harder to be motivated and have faith when it's so nebulous.

I hope you hear something soon.

Hi Jen, Your day will come soon - and then your world will turn crazy busy. And then you'll need to unleash all of your lists!!! :)

My agency said in the past that the wait for an infant girl was 8 months. I think you've been waiting five, so your day will be coming very soon.
